At Unity High School, there are numerous opportunities for students to be involved in music. Some programs are year-round and some run for a short time. There are two full-time music teachers on staff to guide your kids to reach their full potential.

Welcome Matt Cowsert to Rocket Country! Previously serving as the Band Director for Tuscola CUSD #301, where he has worked since 2019. Mr. Cowsert is a graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School and Illinois State University, and he participated in Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, and various other activities that involved musical performance throughout his high school and college careers. (The Band Director leads all band classes & activities at the High School, Junior High, and Unity West.)
