Letter Writing Campaign
The Unity Music Boosters is conducting our annual Letter Writing Campaign for the Music Directors Fund. This fund is used to provide music, student awards, instrument repair, band and choir accessories and many other items that are not budgeted by the school district. The directors truly appreciate all donations.
Representatives from Music Boosters met with Band and Choir classes to kick off the Letter Writing Campaign. Your child has a paper copy of the instructions but we know they will need your help with gathering addresses.
We need all music students to participate for this to be a success! The Music Boosters is asking you to provide the contacts for 5 or more people – parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, teachers, friends or other supporters of music. Don’t forget to ask parents of past music members! The Music Boosters will send out letters in the mail to these contacts. If you have more than one music student at Unity, please feel free to put all of their names in the form and we will just send one letter to each contact. They will all receive the candy awards and can share any cash rewards they may win. We want it to be easy!
Instructions:
1. Enter Contacts: Please enter your contacts (potential donors) in this online form: https://tinyurl.com/2024LWC Don’t forget to add yourselves!
You can enter up to 20 contacts at a time in this form. If you need more, just submit the first group and then click the form again to add more!
2. Add Personal Note: Add a personal note to each contact so they know it is from you! We will print these in a different color so they really stand out and make it personalized.
3. Mention the Fund Raiser to your Contacts: Follow up with your contacts via text once we have sent out the letters. Mr. Cowsert and Ms. Jablonski will let you know when via the Remind app!
4. Earn Candy! For each 5 entries, your student will earn a full size candy bar that will be handed out in class.
4. Win! As an incentive, you can qualify to be entered into two drawings for $50 each! One drawing for contacts entered and one drawing for contacts that donate any amount!
